Passport to Perfection
Have you ever dreamed about traveling the world? I certainly do every night as I drift off to sleep. The destinations I envision hopefully will turn into real adventures one day.
Traveling through the Mediterranean is a dream of mine—Italy and Greece are definitely on my bucket list. When the time comes, I’m torn between taking a cruise, flying with a train tour, or doing both.
My most recent adventure took place on the Royal Caribbean’s Symphony of the Seas! It’s such a stunning ship, offering a plethora of activities. One highlight of the Caribbean-bound cruises with Royal has to be their Private Island, Coco Cay. They refer to it as the perfect day, and I wholeheartedly agree. My family and I love spending time at the Coco Cay Country Club, where we enjoy a wonderfully relaxing and fun-filled day. We start off in a cabana on the beach, and then my daughter and I spend our afternoon by the pool. The food there is exceptional, with an abundance of options! Onboard, we enjoyed a Broadway show, Hairspray, and another performance that explored the history of flight. We even dined in an Alice in Wonderland-themed restaurant. There’s truly something for everyone, including a kids’ park area with slides and a merry-go-round.
In March, I will be traveling to Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, where I’ll be staying at a Hilton Resort. While we are primarily visiting family, there will be ample opportunities for sightseeing. We plan to explore various states and take in incredible sights, including the iconic Christ the Redeemer (Cristo Redentor).
